KKG is an active and integral part of UC Davis. Our experience on this campus is marked by numerous contributions in service and commitment to both the community and the university. We also take pride in the outstanding women that have joined and grown within our house, each of them bringing to Kappa something unique and special. Alone, each Kappa brings unique qualities to the campus, but together we make a difference.

A letter from our President...

Hello and welcome to the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of California, Davis!

This chapter is full of inspirational and driven women who excel in every aspect of life. Our chapter is home to athletes, dedicated scholars, volunteers, and the bright future of our generation. But these women are not only defined by their tangible achievements. Kappa women are daring, strong, kind, dependable, supportive, authentic, innovative, and brilliant. I am beyond grateful and proud of every single member of this chapter and the memories that they have shared or created with me.
 
A normal year for us consists of growth, new activities, and leadership opportunities. Our chapter excitedly awaits recruitment, bonding sisterhoods, inspiring philanthropic efforts, and all the glitz and glam that is brought from our formals. It is an honor to share how much of a home our chapter is to each and every one of us during the recruitment season. Recruitment truly leaves us as a stronger family, as it continuously reminds us of the bonds that tie us together and the values of Kappa that made it a safe abode when we first embarked on our Panhellenic journeys.
Our philanthropies, however, truly show how dedicated and empathetic the women of this chapter are. Leading up to our philanthropy events, our chapter works collaboratively to raise funds for women’s organizations, scholarship programs, social causes, mental health programs, and suicide prevention efforts. We undoubtedly live all of Kappa’s values: truth, connection, respect, optimism, knowledge, and trailblazing. Watching our sisterhood come together to raise awareness for causes greater than ourselves is truly one of the reasons why Kappa holds a special place in my heart.
 
Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the best blessings that ever happened to me. I have not only met my best friends, but I have learned so much about myself and what it means to be seen. These women provide an unwavering support system that I will cherish for the rest of my life. This chapter holds my lifelong friends and sisters who have influenced my life for the better. Through all of our difficulties and accomplishments, Kappas are always there to lift each other up and make each other’s days brighter. Being President of this sorority is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am extremely lucky to be able to give back to the organization that has given so much to me. Leading this chapter alongside our incredible Leadership Team is the most rewarding experience and one that I will never fail to look back on.
 
Looking back on my own recruitment experience freshman year, I know that if I could go back, I would choose Kappa over and over again. As a student who never saw herself in Greek life, Kappa has truly become one of the biggest inspirations in my life that has made me who I am today. Kappa has been the best part of my college years, a chapter of my life that will never be unnoticed. I know that I will always have a study buddy, someone to binge watch TV shows with, someone to support me through any difficulty that life throws at me, and a heart that will provide love when I need it the most. Wherever I go and whatever I accomplish, Kappa will always be an essential part of who I am. I hope as you get to know this amazing chapter and all the women apart of it, you find the same acceptance and love that I did.
