Campus Involvement

Kappas love showing our love for UC Davis by getting involved!

You can find a Kappa anywhere on campus! Our sisters are involved in various sports, clubs, internships, jobs, and programs all throughout Davis. These include: American Medical Student Association (AMSA), Cal Aggie Camp, Girl Up Club, Armenian Club, Foresight Optometry Club, Vision Dance Team, WomensNet, Snow Club, Peer Advising, Research Labs, Order of: Omega, Nursing Club, Division 1 Field Hockey, Equestrian, and Cheer Team, Golf Club, Girls Gains, Orientation Leaders, Debate Club, Camp Kesem, Soccer Team, University Honors Program, Mishelanu, Davis Women in Business (DWIB), and more!

Joining a sorority in college is a life-changing experience, but garnering an education is the top priority for Kappa Kappa Gamma. We pride ourselves on maintaining a good balance between our social life and our academic endeavors. In order to help our members succeed academically, Kappa offers numerous academic resources to its members. All chapter members have access to study hours, which are held every week, tips about the best professors and classes to take, and of course, study buddies! Kappa's academic program highlights our sisters who perform well in school through quarterly 4.0 GPA story posts and a "Smarty Sis" every week to reward members.

If a Kappa struggles academically, we help her through it. The Academic Excellence Committee is very involved in our chapter and meets with members to craft improvement plans using study tactics and time management. We want each sister to leave college with what they came for: a degree.

We have members of all majors and interests, and because of this, Kappa is a valuable networking resource. Often, our alumni and our current members help each other find jobs and internships during their academic careers and after they graduate. Kappa strongly values scholastic achievement and works hard to support our academic endeavors!

There are tons of jobs on campus, and the odds that you will work alongside another are not slim! When a Kappa is jobless and in need, we'll help each other out when we can! Many Kappas work on campus for Campus Rec, the Study Abroad office, the CoHo (Coffee House), and the ARC!

Another way we get involved is by participating in other Greek/non-Greek organizations' philanthropies! Kappas love to show support for our fellow Aggies who are trying to raise money and/or awareness for some amazing causes.
