Social

Another way Kappas spend time with our sisters while promoting inter-Greek relations is through our quarterly social events!

Kappas Love Formals

Formals are planned by our Events Director Hannah Glickman and Risk Prevention Director Megan Tutundjian:

"Each quarter we plan one formal, which means we get to look forward to one every quarter! They are so much fun and are hosted at a myriad of different venues! We have gone to Dixon, Winters, and Sacramento. While we love our little town, being able to depart for the night is so much fun!

Each quarter brings something unique and it is so fun being able to have control over what the formal looks like including the venue, entertainment, and food. Getting to see the reactions to where the venue is, as well as how much our sisters enjoyed their time, make this role worth it.  We love watching our sisters having an amazing time and getting dressed up for the night. We  are so grateful to have each other on this team to plan amazing events for this chapter!'

Family & Friends Weekend

Family and Friends weekend is a time where Kappas invite their family and friends to the Kappa house where they show their guests around, introduce them to other sisters, and learn more about our chapter! This year, Family and Friends Weekend was planned by our PR Director Lena Nguyen:

"My committee and I had so much fun planning Family and Friends Weekend this past winter quarter! This year we had a brunch with many food/drinks options for our guests to enjoy and had various activities planned including trivia, cornhole, and many photo opportunities. I had the chance to meet so many people and express my love for this chapter. This event holds a special place in my heart as our sisters had the opportunity to bring the people they care about to our chapter. Kappa is considered a "home away from home" for of our many sisters and I am so glad that their close family and friends were able to come visit our chapter and learn about what makes our sisterhood so special."

...and more!
