Epsilon Omicron - University of California, Davis

Welcome to the Kappa Kappa Gamma, Epsilon Omicron website! We're happy you've stumbled upon it!

KKG is an active and integral part of UC Davis. Our experience on this campus is marked by numerous contributions in service and commitment to both the community and the university. We also take pride in the outstanding women that have joined and grown within our house, each of them bringing to Kappa something unique and special. Alone, each Kappa brings unique qualities to the campus, but together we make a difference.

A letter from our President...

Hello and welcome to the Epsilon Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of California, Davis!

Epsilon Omicron is home to over 100 brilliant, talented and tenacious young women who strive for excellence in everything they do. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead this group of women that never fail to amaze me. They are leaders of their own clubs, star athletes, dedicated students, and much, much more—they are the most inspiring friends I could ever imagine. Each member brings something unique to the table, and together we are bonded by Kappa’s values and sisterhood.

As Kappas, we pride ourselves on our commitment to scholarship and philanthropy. We celebrate individuality and sisterhood. Whether we are studying together in the library, enjoying Wednesday night sisterhoods at the farmer’s market, going on late night Yoloberry runs, or raising money for Mental Health Initiatives, our chapter loves to spend time with one another, strengthening our deep bond.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is an organization that seeks to build life-long bonds of friendship, support, opportunities, respect, and an overall understanding of positive ethical values and principles. The Epsilon Omicron chapter seeks to empower all Kappas through lifelong bonds with women from all different backgrounds, a pure reflection of Kappa’s values. Despite the trials and challenges that the pandemic brought to us all, our chapter remained strong. We continued to support our philanthropies and new ones, such as Black Lives Matter and WEAVE Inc. Through online learning and meetings, our unwavering sisterhood remained strong. The Epsilon Omicron chapter has come out of this time stronger as we all had the chance to truly appreciate what getting to be Kappa means to us all.

Through Kappa, I have learned to challenge myself to be the best person I can be. Kappa has given me a place to call home and a community of unconditional love and support, inspiring me to pursue my ambitions unapologetically. The experiences and opportunities that this chapter has given me: lifelong friendships, career development, leadership skills, and the confidence to achieve anything have shaped me into the woman I am today. The women of Epsilon Omicron are incredibly genuine, intelligent, and driven, and have been by my side throughout all of college. Without Kappa, my college experience would not be the same and if I did it all over again, I would choose Kappa every time. I am forever grateful for the Epsilon Omicron chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Love & Loyally,

Taylor Slarve
